The Davenport NDP Riding Association is an active Electoral District Association (EDA) for both the federal and provincial NDP. We are neighbours working together to build a more affordable, inclusive, and caring Davenport.
We organize locally to support progressive change and advocate for the issues that matter most in our community — including affordable housing, public transit, healthcare, education, workers’ rights, and climate action.
Our volunteer Executive team helps connect residents, support campaigns, and strengthen local democratic participation.

Davenport is a vibrant and diverse community in Toronto’s west end, built on creativity, solidarity, and the belief that everyone deserves dignity and opportunity.

What is a Riding Association?
The Davenport NDP Riding Association is a volunteer-run organization that helps build community engagement and support progressive change between elections.
We:
- Organize meetings, canvasses, and local events
- Support NDP candidates and elected representatives
- Engage residents on community issues
- Welcome new members and volunteers
- Send delegates to NDP conventions and policy discussions
The Executive is elected annually at the AGM and generally meets monthly. All NDP members in good standing are welcome to attend meetings and participate in discussions.
